There are so many misconceptions about how to cultivate a genuine relationship with Spirit that really bother me as a teacher and learner of psychic and spirit communication.

It's not just because they are incorrect. It's because these misconceptions often stop folks who are serious about their spiritual development from exploring their own abilities and spiritual support systems. They can make approaching a spiritual practice seem more complicated and intimidating than it has to be.

Loving reminder before tomorrow's eclipse 🌑

If you have been feeling lost, untethered, ungrounded these past few weeks, you’re not alone.

Eclipse seasons can have us questioning everything. Even issues we thought we had resolved and processed through years ago can come bubbling up to the surface.

They're not always bitter medicine, though. They can also be gifts: big breakthroughs, flashes of insight, and meetings of fate.

For me, it has felt like a bit of both. This season is shining a light on parts of me I have wanted to keep in the dark: issues of worthiness, struggle, accepting help from others. I see through my journal entries over the last year how these themes have been creeping like vines through my subconscious. Divine timing has brought them all to bloom at the same moment.

Your spirits always have your back.

Even though I'm doing less, I know my spiritual support team still has my back.

Here's another story. Yesterday, while I was hosting a support call for my Spiritfound Community, my computer started going haywire. Zoom was lagging and everyone's audio and video was choppy on my end. I thought maybe my Internet was unstable, so I got up to check my router.

I opened my office door and all I saw was smoke. All I smelled was burning chemicals.

I'm Rochelle. I’m a generational medium, psychic mentor, astrologer, and the founder of Brown Bruha.

I grew up on O‘ahu in the Kingdom of Hawai‘i in a Catholic, superstitious, Ilokano and Japanese household. When it came to spirits, all I was taught was to fear them and leave them alone.

The first interaction I remember having with the spirit realm was when I was 7 years old. Through study, guidance, personal studies and experimentation, I learned how to accurately and safely communicate with the spirit realm and how to tune into other living beings’ energies. I felt the push to share what I had learned with others, and that is how Brown Bruha was born.

Since 2019, I have helped hundreds of folks access clarity, relief, support, and guidance from the spirit realm, and Brown Bruha has expanded from readings to also include classes, memberships, workshops, and mentorship.

In my 10th house profection year, I started offering astrological support to my clients and community members. I have studied with Chris Brennan and Kirah Tabourn.

I have also been a licensed attorney since 2017, however, I never offer legal advice through Brown Bruha. I earned my Juris Doctor from the University of Hawai‘i at Mānoa and my Bachelor of Arts in International Relations and Spanish from the University of Southern California.
