How my bachan (grandma) visited me in a video game after she died

I'm sharing this story with you because I love it so much and I have screenshots. I have proof!

I hope it helps you open up further to the possibility of your deceased loved ones coming through to you in the most unexpected ways, beyond your imagination, with deeply unconditional love 🥹

Some background: my bachan, Gladys Aiko Sugawa (I am also Aiko—named after her), transitioned in March 2022. She was 104. Her birthday just passed; if she were still alive, she would have been 106 on January 2.

She visited me in Animal Crossing just 8 days after she passed. She made her presence so specifically known that it was undeniably a visit from her.

I think about her a lot these days because I am walking a very similar path to hers 70 years ago (another magical story for another day).

As further proof, here is a picture of me, my mom, dad, bachan, and grandpa playing cards (our main pastime whenever we visited my grandparents) on a green felt table cover that my bachan made. That is how hardcore we were.

I'm the only person still alive in this photo 🥺 probably taken around 2010.

Her visiting me helped me to have the emotional release that I needed in the days following her death. Up until then, I had not been able to process or feel anything about her passing 🥺 we were especially close because we would see each other every other weekend, and then every day after that she moved in with us. I miss her so much.

In conclusion, your deceased loved ones want to reach out to you. They want to show you that they are okay. They want to support you through your hardest times. You can receive their support and continue your relationship beyond their physical death.
